How does this work?

Creating a private index

Use the form above to create your own index of up-to ten (10) websites that you'd like to track. You can add or remove websites from your index at any time. Once you've entered the domains you wish to track, press the "Create Index" button to run the first check of your index against the Green Web Foundation's Green Web Dataset.

Updating a private index

Once you've created your index, you can update it at any time by entering new domains and pressing the "Recheck Index" button. You can only update and recheck your index once every 24 hours.

The results

Results are stored locally in your browser and displayed in the table above when the page loads. If you clear your browser's storage, then the content of your index will be lost.

Persisting, and sharing indexes

Results are stored locally in your browser and cannot be shared. If you'd like to share the results of your index with others, you either submit a public index or make a fork of this project's code to run your own tracker.
